The religious symbolism that we can find in Kathmandu architecture and art is a source of inspiration to Raj, the carpet designed by Francesc Rifé for NOW Carpets as part of Nepal collection, a reflection of all the visual richness that pervades every corner of the capital.
The lights and shadows cast by small bells in the ceramics covering some buildings of the Buddhist and Hindu city suggest very well-defined geometric shapes that the Catalan designer has resulted in Raj.
The carpet, composed of Tibetan wool (50%) and natural silk (50%), is manufactured in our own looms with hand-knott system.
It is available in 170 cms x 240 cms and in 200 cms x 300 cms, although it is possible to order special sizes, as well as any color (Custom carpets).
