Born in 1965 in Lorcano to an Austrian mother and an Italian father, which has made the mixture and movement characteristic of his work. “Traveling, the interaction of movement has made me an ally of in-between, an author of transition from one thing to another, from one world to another,” he acknowledges between flights.
As soon as he graduated in Graphic Design at the School of Decorative Arts in Geneva, he went straight to Paris, where he studied Industrial Design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, later completing his training with an exchange at Kingston Polytechnic. Several trips and meetings later, his love for Tokyo was born and his first collaboration with Id? E, which was decisive. Since then he has never stopped having links in Switzerland, France and Japan.
A minimalist, dynamic and colorful style are at the root of his work, the result of his initial training in graphic design where he tended towards a polymorphous and global design. It’s a royal style that vibrates with interacting influences. Today as a designer, set designer, interior architect, Claudio is an excellent all-rounder.
